The Met Police is now reviewing threatening signs from a trans rights protest in London, after initially saying no action was needed.
Placards showed hangman drawings, calls for a “DIY lobotomy,” and one with fake bullet holes reading: “I will make you listen.”
The protest opposed a Supreme Court ruling defining women by biological sex. The Met reversed its stance after evidence showed the signs appeared in central London on Saturday.
Officers are also investigating vandalised statues in Parliament Square.
PM Keir Starmer’s spokesman said those involved should face “the full force of the law.” Barrister Sarah Vine KC said the signs likely cross into criminality.
