Princess Royal is a piece by harpist Turlough O'Carolan that I frequently play in concerts. It is very famous in the harp repertoire and it also often called by its other title "Miss MacDermott".
Turlough O'Carolan, born in 1670 in Ireland, was a blind celtic harper and composer who composed a lot of beautiful harp pieces. He journeyed from one end of the country to the other, composing and performing his harp pieces, often dedicating them to his patrons.
