The intersection features a robust setup designed for train safety. The main traffic lights are 2 retrofitted 12-inch Durasig 4-way clusters hanging on the span wire, accompanied by 4 standard heads. To ensure visibility from all angles, there are also 2 pole mounted heads. The most critical feature here is the railroad preemption system. The intersection is equipped with 2 No Right Turn LED blank out signs that activate specifically when a train is approaching, preventing drivers from turning onto the tracks during a crossing event. The pedestrian infrastructure has also been updated with 8 retrofitted Durasig units that now feature countdown timers.
