Speaking in honor of baseball great Ryne Sandberg, who recently passed away from metastatic prostate cancer, Dr. Morgan reflects on why the work to prevent overtreatment — and save lives — remains urgent.

In this talk, he revisits the 2021 NCCN guidelines controversy that briefly removed “preferred” status from Active Surveillance for low-risk prostate cancer, explains how the decision was reversed, and outlines what’s next for improving patient outcomes.
