„Talk“ ist ein Song, der verschlossenen Menschen Mut machen will, über ihre Gefühle zu sprechen: „Let me hear your voice, whisper in my ear ...“ Diese Liedzeilen haben nun für uns selbst einen ganz neuen Klang bekommen - sowohl im wörtlichen wie im übertragenen Sinne. Denn coronabedingt können wir seit Wochen nicht mehr gemeinsam proben und auftreten. Und so singen wir gegen die „dröhnende Stille“ in uns an – allein zu Haus, aber wenigstens virtuell zusammen! „There is a hope in every heartbeat…"
"Talk" is a song trying to encourage the more timid among us to speak up and talk about their feelings openly: "Let me hear your voice, whisper in my ear ..." In times of the Corona pandemic, these lines have gotten a whole new meaning for us as a choir, both in a literal and a figurative sense. Due to the pandemic, we can't see each other in person and rehearse, so we decided to sing together digitally - against the "roaring emptiness" some of us might be feeling. So we are physically distant, but virtually together! "There is a hope in every heartbeat."
