Though Q4 results are still to come, the US fixed wireless access (FWA) sector is enjoying a banner 2025 and has continued to apply pressure on cable operators throughout the year.
And while Verizon saw the pace of FWA subscriber gains slow down during the year, T-Mobile and AT&T pulled up the slack. Meanwhile, several MVNOs that are run and operated by the MNOs, such as Mint Mobile, TracFone and Straight Talk, are getting increasingly active with their own, branded FWA-based home broadband services.
Jeff Moore, analyst and principal of Wave7 Research, keeps close tabs on the mobile and wireless sector. Alongside his studies of the mobile postpaid and prepaid markets, Moore recently issued his Q3 2026 FWA report, sizing up how these companies are selling and marketing these services.
