In this video I take my 172,000-mile BMW E90 M3 straight to the mountains for a proper shakedown run right after replacing the rod bearings. With the big maintenance finally handled, it was time to see how the car feels on an aggressive drive up Blood Mountain in North Georgia.
High mileage or not, the S65 still screams, and Blood Mountain’s tight corners and elevation changes make the perfect test road. This drive was all about making sure everything feels solid after the repair while finally enjoying the car the way it’s meant to be driven.
