Описание: Meet the giant Triassic insect Gigatitan vulgaris, one of the last and largest members of an extinct group called the Titanopterans. These prehistoric predators first evolved in the Carboniferous, and unlike some other arthropods, only seemed to get bigger from then on out.

In this video, we'll be looking, not only at the fossil record, but at some of the most formidable insect predators alive today, such as mantids and raspy crickets, to get an idea of what this Triassic terror may have been like.
