Here are 10 projects I did to save 10’s of thousands on the camp wedding of my dreams…
1. Choosing a local summer camp as our venue! - it was a fraction of the cost of a traditional venue, plus we were able to provide lodging for over 150 guests for 3 nights!
2. Our custom invitation suite! I used my #CricutMaker3 to address all envelopes, make custom envelope liners and custom stickers with our pups girlscout portrait on it :)
3. I ordered checkerboard vinyl and installed it over our regular dance floor. Just make sure you have a few extra hands to help you!
4. I made Field Note inspired menus with my #Cricut and included a lucky fish inside. These unintentionally became souvenirs that our guests loved!
5. During the 2023 Holidays, I collected birch twigs and let them dry out over spring to make this awesome camp entry sign that greeted guests when they entered the camp site!
6. I bought all my flowers wholesale and hired a freelance florist. My MOH’s + I DIY’d the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages!
7. I used my Cricut again to make a travel postcard inspired welcome sign for our wedding guests (and doggies) to take photos in!
8. The most time consuming of all… the 6 piece modular bar I DIY’d! It cost me a few hundred to make versus a few thousand to rent. Plus, we bought all our drinks wholesale and hired freelance bartenders which also saved $$$!
9. My camp directional sign! This functional piece of decor I made with my @cricut ended up being invaluable for helping guests navigate the 77 acre camp ground!
10. Thrifted glassware + candles - i collected over 100+ crystal goblets which was a fraction of the cost of renting!

I did sooo many other projects including screen printing thrifted sweatshirts for each guest, custom buttons, drink pouches, matchbooks, coasters, #CricutMade seating chart, etc. I truly tried to think of every detail!
