The 1966 was best-selling Mustang of all time! The 66’s were outfitted with a new front grille, side grille, side ornamentation, and the classic pony gas cap. 1966 was also the first year the chrome steel wheel option was offered. If you’re looking for a classic Mustang this is the one to have.
This is a full nut and bolt build. This is a “No expense was spared” restoration. The restoration was done by D & L Restoration Inc from 2021-2023 at a cost of $137,668.57. The ’66 has only 214 miles on the build. The handling of this Mustang is like no other ’66. The factory shocks and springs have been replaced with 13.5” Phantom series Coil-Over shocks and a 9” Coil-Spring. Upper and lower front shock mount and a T-Bar kit. This package gives solid performance handling and ride quality. Handles like a dream with power steering, and power brakes. The 15-in GT wheels with red center caps and radial tires is the perfect look.
Paint code 13076 Night mist metallic blue is flowless. All chrome and trim are at show standards. GT fog lamps in front and GT exhaust tips coming through the valance and back. The interior is in impeccable condition. All new to show standards; dash bezels, dash pad, and deluxe steering wheel. Note the original AM radio, has been replaced with “Custom Autosound” slidebar radio. Classic look with today’s technology. Dakota Digital VHX 6-Gauge package. Convertible power top has been restored with all new weather strips, and split glass window. The trunk has a complete liner and tire cover over the spare. It also has a reproduction decal and new
valance. Also has a new fuel system including the tank. This is a rust-free car looks and drives like new. This is your chance to own a 1966 Mustang weatherstrip. Even comes with custom car cover.
The 289 V8 engine was built by Custom Machine of Seattle Washington. Matched to automatic C4 transmission. The ’66 has factory type GT dual exhaust with crossover pipe and the stainless tips going through the convertible that is a significant model in automotive history.
