How to make HK Style Milk Tea 🇭🇰☕️ (香港奶茶) || Ceylon Tea || The Right Way

Описание: 📌 Hello everyone, this is a video on how to make HK style milk tea. We use two different pure Ceylon tea leaves, one from Lipton (more flavour) and another from Rickshaw (more body).

Hong Kong-style milk tea (香港奶茶; aka 大排档奶茶) is a tea drink made from black tea and evaporated milk, for which the most prominent brand is Black&White. It's trademark is being the 'creamiest' of all milk tea.

"Tea pulling" involves pouring tea back and forth from one jug into another at least four times so that air can mix with the liquid and create a foamy head.

Fun fact: People in Hong Kong consume approximately a total of 900 million glasses/cups a year

⏱️ STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. 10g of Ceylon tea leaves (5g from each brand)
2. Boil it
3. Pull tea 4 times and put it on the side
4. Melt brown sugar with water (can skip this, up to your preference)
5. Mix sugar and tea
6. Pour evaporated milk (Black&White, HK brand)
7. Pour tea mixed sugar
8. And it's ready to drink

*milk ratio should be 1:3 of the cup (1:3 milk, 2:3 tea) but it can be adjusted to your own preference.
