Hello there, I decided to make a video explaining why I got a 50 degree quilt rather than a 40 degree for warmer weather backpacking. I feature the Loco Libre Ghost Pepper Operator 50 degree quilt, but this is not really a full review of the quilt. I decided to not do a full review because Loco Libre was not currently accepting orders at the time I did this video (February 2022). Anyways, the purpose of the video was to discuss few reasons to get a 50 degree for certain situations because I have seen the question asked around the Interwebs a bit. There are some legitimate reasons to get a 50 degree quilt if you backpack in warmer weather or want to save a few ounces as compared to a 40 degree quilt. Additionally, 50 degree quilts have some features that you don't see in warmer quilts, such as sewn-through baffles, an open footbox, and the daintiest of materials.
