In a viral video uploaded by the Tiktok account @akhtarnakula, a farmer appears in the spotlight because of his unusual actions. This farmer is seen trampling a watermelon that has been cut open.
Even though it was just a matter of expressing anger, the action of a female farmer trampling her harvested watermelons actually became the focus of netizens. Through information about the location of the account owner, it is known that this unsold watermelon farmer comes from Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi, East Java. The 18 second video is currently being flooded with comments from netizens.
A woman's foot firmly stepped on the middle of the watermelon to form a hole. Not only one watermelon, but many other watermelons also experienced similar treatment.

The woman who recorded the action was seen expressing her disappointment with the watermelon which apparently was not selling well on the market.
In the recording, the camera is then pointed forward, showing a pile of watermelons that are thought to have just been harvested. Several farmers were seen sitting on the sidelines, busy splitting watermelons.
The farmer allegedly stepped on the watermelon because the price of watermelon was currently declining. This situation illustrates the difficulties farmers face in selling their crops.
Nevertheless, netizens criticized the viral action of farmers trampling watermelons. However, there are also netizens who have a positive opinion that the farmer only intended to take watermelon seeds.
