Lakdi ki kathi, kathi pe ghoda,
घोड़े की दुम पे जो मारा हथोड़ा,
On the horse’s tail, tap tap tap!
दौड़ा-दौड़ा घोड़ा, दुम उठा के दौड़ा,
Run run little horse, tail up he runs,
बच्चों संग हँसता, मस्ती में दौड़ा।
Laughing with kids, having lots of fun.
टाप-टाप करता आगे बढ़ जाए,
Clip-clop sounds as he moves along,
नन्हे कदमों संग गाना गाए,
Singing a happy children’s song.
कूदे, नाचे, ताली बजाए,
Jump and dance, clap your hands,
खुशियों से भर जाए सारा जहान।
Happiness spreads across the land.
