No. 2-seed Ohio State is set to face the No. 10-seed Miami Hurricanes in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
The Buckeyes had a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff, while Miami took down No. 7-seed Texas A&M 10-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.

The last time Ohio State and Miami met in a postseason football game, the Buckeyes walked away as national champions. The teams have played twice since, with Ohio State winning in 2010 and Miami winning in 2011.
The Cotton Bowl is played at AT&T Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. The Buckeyes won a national championship there in the 2014 season with a 42-20 win over Oregon when the playoffs consisted of only four teams.
This will be only the second appearance for the Hurricanes in the bowl and the first since New Year’s Day 1991.
The winner of the Cotton Bowl will advance to the CFP semifinals at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on Jan. 8.
