The King Gong show is a monthly Stand-up comedy show run at the Comedy Store London. 3 random members of the audience are assigned as judges. They are each given cards which they can raise at any point if they do not like the comedian. The comedian loses if all 3 judges raise their cards and is made to leave immediately i.e., the comedian is “gonged off” by the Gongmeister. The objective is for comedians to last 5 minutes on stage by keeping the audience entertained with their set.
A winner is chosen amongst the comedians who beat the gong through an audience clap off
