Today, I walked to the Tahquitz Canyon Waterfall. It's located just a few miles from downtown Palm Springs, California.
It's approximately one mile to the waterfall from the visitor center entrance and is an easy to moderate walk or hike.
On March 14, 2026 the price for adults was $15 and they don't offer a senior discount.
I arrived, when they opened, at 7:30 am and by the time I completed the walk, about two hours later, they were already at capacity and had already closed the gates. They limit the number of visitors that can be on the trails at any one time.
