What's In This STORM DRAIN? :D Creek Fishing In Fullerton CA!

Описание: In this video, I try to find out what's in this storm drain? :D It's a change of pace, but I'm doing some creek fishing in Fullerton, CA! Now I know I always do saltwater videos, this is probably the first freshwater video for this channel actually. But I'm glad I went, I never have any luck with freshwater fishing and I remembered this spot a buddy of mine found with me several years ago. Glad to see there are still fishies in here, not sure how much food or resources they get given they're in a storm drain, but it looks like the population is thriving decently c: We start off with using some waxworms, caught what I think is a texas cichlid. They're a popular aquarium fish, there's a chance someone released them and they ended up here. Also caught what I think was green sunfish. Again I'm not super versed in freshwater fish so let minnow if I'm wrong :o After the waxworm, I try messing around with slim jims. Glad I did, ended up catching a massive green sunfish I think, then another decent-sized one right after! Overall, very fun day of fishing and chilling, would definitely head back as soon as I can c: There are probably plenty more panfish in this storm drain creek or stream for fishing :D

#firstfishfreedom is a tradition that I started a while back. The basis for this tradition is to release the first fish you catch, regardless of what it is (prized, PB, good eats, maybe even world record someday haha). I will only keep the first fish if it is gravely wounded or gut shotted (and a species I can legally keep). If I keep the first fish, then I will pass on the tradition to the second fish, and so forth. Any day of fishing is a blessing, catching a fish and beating the skunk is another blessing on top of that, so I want to return that blessing and luck back to the fish, so they may live another day, get bigger, and maybe I catch them again in the future c:
