According to a release from Platinum Pictures, the new documentary 25 Years of UK Garage will be available on digital platforms starting on December 5. A new teaser and poster have been released in honour of the occasion, which will premiere today at noon GMT.
In 25 Years of UK Garage, DJs and MCs from the UK Garage dance music scene over the previous 25 years share their own narratives. UK Garage began as a purely British phenomenon before becoming a global phenomenon that gave birth to and impacted some of the most important musical genres of our day.
Terry Stone and Richard Turner directed the film, which also stars Richie Campbell, Anthony Joshua, MC Harvey, Leo Ihenacho, Ms. Dynamite, Lisa Maffia, Megaman, So Solid Crew, Dane Bowers, M.C. Creed, DJ Majestic, MC Bushkin, Heartless Crew, DJ Swiss, DJ PDS, Oxide & Neutrino, and Scott Garcia.
