Mainz Station is considered one of the busiest stations in Rhine-Palatinate.It was opened in 1884.About 80000 tourists and local residents use it every day.
The station receives about 78 long-distan ce trains and 440 commuter trains daily.
Here the road from Cologne-Koblenz to Stuttgart-Ulm intersecs with the road to Wiesbaden-Frankfurt.
The station building is small, classical in Design,but very modern inside.
