Having become aged I have this deep desire to go to Madinah Munawwarah
With my head bowed I tremble with this desire seeking to fulfill this life mission
The burden of my sins weighing heavy
I am worried about this and want to shed it
The darkness of my sight due to sin has caused me to trip repeatedly
I have tried to get the support of a stick or a wall but my feet still remain unstable
I have no son no grandchild or brother, and no family to accompany me
It is my desire not to be returned once I am there
Please keep me there O Allah
I will keep trying and persevere to get there, O my Master let me reach my station
I will bow in submission and say Greetings to the one who picks up those who have fallen
Salaam to the one who awakens the sleeping
Salaam upon the one who makes those who are crying laugh
Salaam to the one who shelters those who the destitute
Salaam upon the one who befriends the lonely
Salaam to the one who feeds the hungry
Salaam to the one who quenches the thirst of the thirsty
Salaam to the one who frees the criminal
