Joe Bane's played for the Horsmonden traditional music class by Gavin Atkin on the Hohner Erica melodeon tuned in D/G.
This is a slightly Anglicated version of a traditional Irish (and Scots) tune I learned from the lovely album Na Fir Bolg recorded by Jack Talty and Cormac Begley. I'm not entirely sure they'd recognised it, but I guess that's the folk process.
For learning purposes, I've played it without chords for learning by ear and then with simple chords - and then for your entertainment and possibly learning I've played it again with the chords I use when I play it...
