The quiet GS Type 1 E-Bell on the northern signal here was finally replaced with SACRT using a General Signal Inc. Type 3 Electronic Bell as the replacement. I had a heads up that the bell here was replaced as the quiet type 1 wasn't ringing and they saw the maintainer replacing it with the GS Type 3 but it didn't ring right away, a typical situation I came across several times where a brand new GS Type 3 E-Bell didn't work right away for some reason but ended up working. Note, the GS Type 1s were not the original bells here as a WCH mechanical bell on the south signal and Safetran Mechanical Bell on the North signal were the original bells to these signals. SACRT still uses Siemens E-Bells as you see last year X St and Glenn Dr got some but it seems SACRT is pivoting back to GS Type 3 E-Bells as replacements as SACRT always has pivoted back to using GS E-Bells after using other types of bells that's why there is only 1 WCH E-Bell they use, used 3 or 4 US&S E-Bells, used 8 ASC E-Bells, and used 8 Siemens E-Bells but the system used several dozen of GS E-Bell and types.
I hope this is a start to SACRT replacing bad E-Bells like the broken one at Mills Park Dr, the tone loss quiet one at X St on the gated mast, tone loss quiet one on the gate-less signal at Broadway, tone loss quiet one at 2nd Ave gated mast, tone loss quiet one at T St, and the tone loss quiet one at Starfire Dr on the cantilever.
