A presentation of Native American Heritage Month 2025 hosted by the UNM HSC Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This presentation will focus on Indigenous resiliency, relationality, and thoughtful wellbeing. Dr. Tsinnajinnie Paquin will examine what it means to bring our hearts to teaching and learning from a framework of Indigenous educational sovereignty. She will especially explore the importance of supporting students to also bring their whole selves to their educational journeys. Furthermore, she will consider ways of sharing strength and drawing stability through solidarity and care for one another.
