I took a vacation to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan recently and thought I would share some of the details with you! The below places are where we stopped and explored:
Kitch-It-Ikipi
Tahquamenon Falls
Whitefish Point
Munising (Pictured Rocks)
Marquette
Mackinac Island
All of the hiking, kayaking, and general time spent outside was incredible! I was even able to fish a little bit and caught my first ever smallmouth bass!
Overall, I wanted to point out how important it is to disconnect from time to time. This vacation forced me to disconnect because the service was so poor in the UP. That was great - it allowed me to clear my mind and reduce my usage of social media and emails.
