Описание: A once-in-a-lifetime skydiving experience over the Sierra Mountains 🏔️

This weekend, we got the incredible opportunity to fly with MyDive Skydive and do a few back-to-back skydives over Bishop, California — right above the Eastern Sierra range. The views were absolutely unreal, and the entire experience was a dream from start to finish.

The experience was different from jumping at our home DZ in Elsinore because Bishop is at a much higher elevation. This meant breathtaking views on the way up and while jumping, along with supplied oxygen during our flight, and slightly spicier landings — but totally worth it.

For this particular jump, the plan was for me to climb out onto the wing of the plane and hang before dropping. What we didn’t anticipate was that the plane wheels weren’t locked, so they started spinning the second I stepped on them haha. Combine that with the wind blasting straight at me, and I had to pull myself out of the plane with everything I had.

Luckily, the worst-case scenario was just falling (which I was going to do anyway 😂). I managed to hang for a moment, drop clean, and then had a beautiful freefall and canopy ride with Mike above the Sierra peaks.

And yes — if you’re wondering, I did wear my ski gear for this jump because it was absolutely freezing at altitude… nothing like skydiving in puffys to stay warm 🤪

Huge thanks to MyDive Skydive for making this jump possible — experiences like this are what it’s all about. Flying over the Sierras, Bishop, and Mount Whitney’s ridgeline from that height was pure magic. Definitely a bucket lost experience.
