Описание: Hollywood took Wuthering Heights (one of the most complex, devastating love stories ever written!) and turned it into rage bait. And it worked. because here I am, making this video.

But I'm not reviewing the movie. I refuse to watch it! This video is about something bigger: the entertainment industry has figured out that your anger is their marketing budget, and I'm tired of pretending that's okay.

We'll talk about the Wuthering Heights movie, the pattern of publishers and studios weaponizing controversy, why fanfic writers on AO3 have more integrity than billion-dollar companies, and why I think there used to be pride in storytelling, and where it went.
