How I mounted a baofeng radio in my F-150 without any damage to the truck. I used the holes for the headrest, 1/2”x3” bolts fit perfectly and click in and out securely. Other bits and bobs.
This is just a prototype I will be improving on this design in the future to mount a larger more powerful mobile radio.
I primarily use the radio as a scanner for police /fire whatever, I’m using the 5RM for its wide ability to receive signals of many kinds,including air band.
I do have a GMRS license and transmit on the according frequencies and repeaters from time to time.
