This weekend I headed out on a peaceful North Alabama day trip, starting at Buck’s Pocket State Park where I explored the Jim Lynn Overlook and took in one of the most incredible views in the state. Sitting high above the valley, this overlook is quiet, scenic, and absolutely worth the drive.
After that, I made my way to High Falls Park to see the waterfall flowing through the rocks below. It was calm, beautiful, and the perfect way to end the day surrounded by nature.
