Annual Safeguarding Refresher Training 2024- 25

Описание: Welcome to this years annual safeguarding training bought to you by the Safeguarding in Education Team in Bristol. This is a video to support Designated Safeguarding Leads to fulfil their duties in statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education to provide annual safeguarding training to their staff. It's recommended that a facilitator is sat next to a keyboard to hit pause and time keep to help ensure the session runs smoothly.

Take your time. If you are doing it in one sitting we recommend protecting 2.5 hours for the training but you can always break up the content across the academic year.

Whilst this has been written for a Bristol local context, many of the themes are accessible and can easily be adapted for other professional/areas. Feel free to use the resource if it's helpful.
