Big changes coming to this interesting and historic piece of land in the heart of the city of Oroville. A 6 million dollar renovation coming this summer!
Once the cemetery for the old gold mining camp of Ophir, then the Hewitt gold claim that saw extensive hydraulic mining, then a city park with two historic old locomotives on display. Currently its full of riff raff and vagrants making this an unsafe place for children to play.
