It's the first day of Q3 trade and USD is showing oversold readings from multiple vantage points. The reason for the trend is clear but notably, there've been some sharp turns developing around quarterly cuts over the past couple of years.

EUR/USD is testing above a key Fibonacci level from the 2021-2022 sequence, which has shown a number of interesting inflections over the past couple of years.

Gold has continued to see strong responses to support, even though the trend has stalled from the $3500 test in April.

USD/JPY has held up relatively well given the fresh three-year-lows in DXY yet the hold above 140.00 in USD/JPY. This is a big push point for USD-weakness strategies into H2; but the deductive Yen-weakness that's shown so far may be more attractive in EUR/JPY or GBP/JPY.

USD/CAD and GBP/USD remain of attraction for USD-weakness scenarios given the continued structure in each pair.
