Collin Morikawa has had great success with his Claw Putting Grip. Here I talk about some of the key points he does for his claw grip.
1. He starts with the putter in his right hand to aim the face.
2. He puts his left index finger down the grip to help stabilize the putter
3. His claw grip has his index and middle finger on top of the grip and ring and pinky finger set to the side slightly behind.
The Claw Grip position helps keep the right hand stable through the swing where many players in a traditional grip can have too much movement leading to inconsistency. This is also something that can make the golfers putting stroke feel yippy. The Claw Grip is a great solution to help stabilize the grip and smooth out the putting stroke.
