Blue Suede Shoes was written and performed by Carl Perkins on the Sun Label. Many covers were made in 1956, including this one featured as the first track on the groundbreaking 'Elvis Presley' album on RCA in 1956. Another version was featured in the Elvis movie 'G.I. Blues' in 1960. This record is re-issue from the 50th Anniversary set.
