Vortex Official On-Ride POV

Описание: Vortex opened to much anticipation in 1992, due to its unconventional stand-up trains. This ride is a long-time favorite among park visitors and roller coaster enthusiasts alike.

After boarding the South's first stand-up rollercoaster, riders begin the climb up the ride’s 90 foot lift hill. After an exhilarating, curved first drop, Vortex soars into a large vertical loop, followed by an oblique loop. Passengers are then taken down into a carousel maneuver. This thrilling ride comes to an end after looping through a flat spin.

Vortex is a classic and evokes a sense of nostalgia in many of our seasoned park-goers. It’s also known for its nice views of the park, as well as its jolting twists and turns.

Minimum height requirement of 54" tall to ride.
