Twenty-five years ago, a group of like-minded people formed Dui Hua 对话, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that seeks clemency and better treatment for at-risk detainees in a well-informed, mutually respectful dialogue with China.
Led by founder and businessman John Kamm, Dui Hua's interventions have led to positive outcomes for political and religious prisoners, contributed to reforms in juvenile justice law, and helped keep human rights central to the US-China relationship.
This special anniversary video takes you on a journey of key moments in Dui Hua's history, and achievements and milestones from 25 years of dialogue.
