This is How We Use Software and Tool Changer to EDM Complex Parts

Описание: In this episode of Learn to Burn, Steve shows the process of maximizing machining efficiency by leveraging tool changer, software and machine capabilities to run multiple electrodes and complete a block in the EDM overnight.
Starting with pulling electrodes from the design, then export the program to the f3 Makino CNC machine, set up electrodes in the mill, and perform the necessary milling. The electrodes are then placed in the EDM tool changer, and setup sheets with machine control settings for each electrode are reviewed.
Steves let the machine to run overnight and the entire process took 4 hours to burn the block.
