We sail into Tauranga just ahead of a brewing storm… and things didn’t go quite as planned. After a sketchy time trying to anchor in Pilot Bay, we finally found a hold to ride out the wild weather — and celebrated our youngest crew member Sol’s birthday with cake, cuddles, and chaos! 🎉⚓🌧️
While the storm raged, the boys got busy with a Tidal Trekkers Fishing Challenge, and Pilot Bay delivered with rod-bending action every day. Once the front passed, we lifted anchor and sailed north, stopping in the peaceful beauty of Mercury Bay to reset and refuel.
These episodes are a real look into our floating family life — the highs, the struggles, and the salty little moments that make it all worth it.
