Every week I'll be explaining and breaking down a lick from the great contemporary jazz drummers or an original idea.
This week I'm breaking down a classic three-notes Lick. You can hear it in a way or another in many drummers throughout the history of Jazz. From Philly Joe Jones, Roy Haynes to more modern drummers like Bill Stewart and Antonio Sanchez... just to name a few.
