Описание: In 1863, the spinning mill in the canton of Zurich was put into operation with 7800 spindles. In 1982, the last cotton yarn left the spindles and the company closed its doors. An architect wanted to breathe new life into the building by purchasing the property a year later. But instead, the former spinning mill has been falling apart for 40 years in a struggle between the authorities and the owner. As a result, only ruins remain of the building complex, which used to be a listed building. In the decades-long struggle between monument protection and the owner, the steam engine, a witness to an age of industrial awakening, finally fell by the wayside.
