🚀🇮🇳 JIO’S NEXT BIG BET: 1,600 SATELLITES ABOVE INDIA

Описание: 🚀🇮🇳 JIO’S NEXT BIG BET: 1,600 SATELLITES ABOVE INDIA
After building one of India’s largest terrestrial telecom networks, Jio is now proposing something much bigger:
🛰️ Around 1,600 LEO satellites
📡 23 ground stations
🌏 Connectivity for remote and difficult-to-reach areas
🇮🇳 A largely indigenous satellite ecosystem
Jio showcased the concept at IMC 2026 under the banner “Sovereign Satellite Connectivity.” mint
But this is still a planned constellation, not a network already operating in space.
🔥 The ambition: take India’s connectivity from the ground to orbit.
