THE BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL EVER.

Описание: We headed to Bike Park Wales over the weekend and decided to try out A470 with our 6 year old... and it's now our favourite ever trail!!!

*Filmed entirely on Insta360 cameras (Go3s, Ace Pro and X4)!!!*

Starting out with a drop off and (what we thought was a 5ft) gap jump (it's 12ft!!)... AND there for a reason - the speed you hit the gap before the rollers (it kinda looks like it's a roller... but pull up for it!). There's plenty of flowing turns, a few doubles and a roller section that sure tests your ability to pump!!!!

Then you get into the woods, it's a little darker (you might have noticed on the camera!!) but in there you come across a set of fun tables followed by a tech section... tech, on a flow trail?! It was defo the most flowing and simple tech we'd come across all day - still the camera flattens it out even more!!

Once you're through the short tech bit its back to some berms to build speed before the super fun jumps... starting with a gap jump before the long tables. At the end of the straight line of tables is a step up followed by a right hand turn... the jumps after this point require much more speed to clear!!

Is this run for beginners? Absolutely not. But if you can clear the tables on Popty Ping you'll be able to get through the qualifier, clear the double before the rollers and get through the first line of jumps just fine!!!

Is this run the best trail in the UK? Harley sure thinks so!!! Fast... flow... a little bit of tech... loads of huge jumps. What else could you want?!

If you wanted to hit A470 but now think you aren't ready then head to Popty Ping, from the uplift drop off take the yellow trail (a few mins of flat riding) and it's just off Terrys Belly... get those jumps dialled and give it a go.

It's cheap to ride, runs well when wet and has a quick and easy push up. Oh and the cafe is incredible too with lovely toilets!!!
