The beautiful Lake Park in Llandrindod Wells, set in 13 acres, the lake walk is lovely and flat and wheelchair friendly.
The lake has an island that provides undisturbed habitats for the birds and an abundance of insects and other wildlife.
In the centre of the lake is the magnificent dragon statue.
There is a café and shop that sells excellent ice cream! and local souvenirs.
If you want to venture off the footpath, there is a lovely walk through the woods by the lake.
There are a few parking slots by the lake, but usually, parking can be found near the lake. Not far from the lake is a child's play area and a lovely picnic area.
There is a cycle route around the lake on a cycle lane on the road.
It was very popular with the Victorians who used to come in their thousands for the famous spa water.
