📖 Synopsis:
Thandie is a deeply emotional South African drama written and directed by Johnpheko M. Maphakela, following the life of a young virgin girl in rural KwaZulu-Natal whose world is shaken when her mother falls ill and must leave for Sangoma training.

With her mother absent, her skeptical brother questioning their traditions, and financial pressures mounting, Thandie struggles to hold her family together. In the midst of this chaos, she finds unexpected comfort in Nqobizwe, a charming, married man who offers her both support and love—but also desires her virginity.

As her Umemulo (coming-of-age ceremony) approaches, Thandie faces an impossible choice:
