Storyline:
JOURNAL ENTRY: FEBRUARY 14.

The locals warned me that the pass closes fast, but I didn't think it would happen this quickly. The road is gone. Buried under six feet of fresh powder in less than four hours. My SUV is just a white mound in the driveway now. I tried the satellite phone, but the atmospheric interference from this blizzard is too dense.

Oddly, I don't feel panic. I feel... relief. This cabin—built in 1928 by a recluse prospector—is solid as a rock. The cedar logs are groaning under the pressure of the storm, a deep, rhythmic creaking that feels like the house is breathing with me. The wind outside is clocking at least 60 mph, screaming through the pines, but inside? It’s dead calm.

I just threw another two logs on the iron stove. The fire is roaring. I have enough dried goods for a month and a stack of books I’ve meant to read for years. The world down below is rushing, stressing, and fighting. Up here, time has stopped. I am trapped, and honestly? I hope the plows don't come for a long, long time.
