UN chief calls for massive support to help Pakistan flood recovery

The US has pledged an additional $100 million in funding, while France has committed another $10 million in aid. Officials from some 40 countries and international financial institutions are meeting in Geneva. The conference is expected to be a major test case for who pays for climate disasters. The June-to-October floods killed at least 1,700 people and displaced around eight million others.
