CVTL held the Annual Reflection 2024 and Planning Workshop under the (SDRR)

Описание: January 13–14, 2025, Dili – CVTL held the Annual Reflection 2024 and Planning Workshop under the Strengthening Disaster Readiness and Response (SDRR) Program in Dili, Timor-Leste.
The program is implementing activities to strengthen capacities of the vulnerable communities on preparedness, anticipatory actions and response to reduce the impact of disasters in Bobonaro, Covalima, and Ermera Municipalities.
The wo day workshop aimed at creating a common space to share annual accomplishments against the Plan of Action - 2024, and simultaneously, revisit and modify the yearly plan for 2025.
The event was inaugurated by the Secretary General of CVTL, and with the presence of American Red Cross and IFRC in country representatives.
The structure of the event included integrated sessions including operational achievement and expenditure analysis, SDRR program SWOT (Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat), discussion on program quality, program management strategy, etc.
The workshop participants also collectively discussed the challenges that they have experienced in 2024 and explored way forward in order to mitigate them.
The event brought together SDRR program officials, Department and Branch Coordinators, and colleagues from Disaster Management, Health, Finance, Human Resources and Administration, PMER, and Communication Section. A total of 33 participants (Females – 9 and Male – 21) attended the workshop.
