Indian PM Modi’s Twitter account briefly hacked; fake tweet promised Bitcoins to all

On December 12, at around 2 am, his account was hacked by some anonymous, crypto loving hackers who shared links to a blog about a Bitcoin giveaway. The post made claims about the Indian government approving the use of Bitcoin as legal tender, an announcement many look forward to in the country.
