In this video, AGC Managing Director Glen Diemar breaks down why the latest drilling results at Achilles is such a major step forward. The newest hole extends high-grade silver-gold mineralisation around 140 metres below the deepest hole used in the current resource, almost doubling the depth of the northern zone. Crucially, all recent drill results sit outside the existing resource and are delivering grades three to ten times higher than the current average — setting the scene for a meaningful resource upgrade.
Glen also puts the results into a market context. The original resource was calculated at a US$35/oz silver price, equating to roughly A$2 billion of in-ground value. With silver now trading around US$110/oz, that in-ground value has lifted to approximately A$5 billion, a 2.5x increase in just a few months.
