Taking a look at the story of the Dodge Dakota Sidewinder concept car from 1997. This was a crazy hybrid combination of a coupe sports car, truck, and convertible, meant to be the futuristic version of a Dodge Dakota convertible. Oh, and it also had the Viper GTS-R V10 engine under the hood, cranking out 640 horsepower, with a 0-60 time of just 3.9 seconds. It was inspired by 1920s pickup trucks, like the Ford T-Bucket. This was stylish, retro, and powerful, and drew tons of attention from crowds at the auto show circuit. Unfortunately, Chrysler didn't pull the trigger on this one, and they decided to cancel it. That leaves many to wonder, 'What If'?
